Mazama Campground, nestled in an old-growth forest at 6,000 feet (1,829 m) in elevation is open only in summer. It has 214 sites each with a picnic table, fire ring, and bear-resistant food locker. It is managed by a concessioner, Crater Lake Hospitality. In 2022, sites will be first-come first-served from the opening date (dependent on snow removal) in late June to June 30. In July, August, and September, all sites are available by reservation only, online (reservation button below) or at 866-292-6720.
